i got a little blogger package from the lovely mien poses the other day and as soon as i’d unpacked it and saw these mermaid poses i knew i had to get to genre and grab loads of other wonderful merfolk themed things! i’m slightly fascinated by mythology and fantasy creatures, especially merfolk, so the new round is my dream event to be honest. i’m not a fantasy or mythology blogger by any stretch, but i had to grab this beautiful mesh & flexi tail from devious mind and dive under the waves to do this little post. not going to lie, i might have got distracted by exploring parts of sims i never normally see due to being a landlubber and this post is now going up two days after i planned it to… oops!

  it’s that time of the month again! yes, lubbly jubblies is back with an amazing bunch of products as usual. i’m in love with these lacy tops from f’n’hawt – they’re just the right amount of girly without being over the top, which is perfect for an early celebration of the warmer weather coming back, (it’s getting warmer here in the uk at least,) since i’m getting kind of sick of sweaters and thick tights in both my second and first lives. here’s your taxi to lubbly jubblies! these shirts come in a bunch of cute colourways, including a couple of bright ones and the staple black and white.

in other news, as i’m sure most of my fellow skin addicts know, the skin fair is well under way. every year i try to buy a skin that pushes me out of my ‘my avatar only looks good with translucent skin or a very light tan’ comfort zone in some way or another. i may have cheated a little by going for a store that i already know and love, but the tone is a lot darker than i usually go for, as well as the face on the skin not being one i’d usually go for. however, i’m so in love with this skin from birdy despite it being well out of my normal comfort range! she’s so pretty and as usual, birdy’s realistic faces are killer. the shading on the body is to die for, especially if you’re a fan of your meshy bits! birdy’s skins always look amazing on the cute and phat azz attachments in my opinion – her style of body shading is perfect for them! here’s your cab to skin fair 1, which is a good place to start as there’s three whole sims full of new stuff to lust after!

what the water gave me

as anyone who’s been reading this blog for more than around a month will know, i am addicted to gachas. and i mean… i have a serious issue, hahaha. especially when the prizes are as adorable as this dress from u.f.o, the sheep horns from half deer and of course my new little buddy, who i’ve affectionately named nigel, by birdy/alchemy. the arcade is in full swing again, as is the chapter four, and the luck of the irish gacha fair is coming up in a week. yep, i’m gonna be broke for the whooooooole month.

in other news, little bones has released three magnificently huge hairs for the aptly named big show! i’m in love with all three of them but i think this one, full moon, might be my favourite overall. it’s just so pretty!

i’m also, as usual, in love with the calas galadhon group of sims. i decided to go and re-explore them and they’re more gorgeous than ever. you can almost smell the flowers and fresh, dewy grass while walking around glanduin, (my favourite sim ever,) and each sim has its own little personality. they’re all beautiful places, so if you’re looking for a place to take some nice outdoor, springtime pictures, i can’t recommend the calas sims enough.
